PUERTO NARINO and INDIAN TRIBES COLOMBIA

Puerto Narino is the second largest town in the Colombian Amazon district, 90% of the approx. 2.000 inhabitants are indigenous TICUNAS.

Attractions are the settlement itsself, the nearby TARAPOTO lakes with the pink dolphins and the center of the NATUTAMA foundation (www.natutama.org). Indigenous give her a good overview of the natural attractions and will be helpful to arranage for a local guide.
